A couple of my goblins wanted a non-trad wedding and I decided to become ordained because that is what we do for family - love and support when they need us to be there for them (not about us - parent-wise). Then, I chatted up a bunch of my bodily and non-bodily offspring and they wanted to know if I would be interested in doing their weddings (if and when they wanted to be sharing their vows) because I try to be the mom for those whose moms were not momming the way (I believe) you should mom your crotch goblins or the mom that helps other moms relax and just be there to mom-support their goblins.
