Emma-Louise Goody
Ordained Minister in Haverhill, England
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I chose to become ordained as a reflection of my commitment to serving others during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Whether it’s uniting two people in marriage, offering guidance, or providing support in times of transition, I believe in creating spaces where people feel seen, respected, and celebrated. At the heart of my journey is compassion the belief that everyone deserves understanding, dignity, a sense of belonging. I am passionate about breaking boundaries, challenging outdated norms, and creating inclusive environments where love and individuality are honored without limitation or judgment. For me, ordination is not just a title—it’s a responsibility rooted in empathy, openness, and a genuine desire to uplift others. I value the diversity of beliefs, identities, and traditions, and I strive to honor each person’s story in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. Being ordained allows me to stand alongside others in moments that truly matter, helping to create ceremonies and experiences that reflect love, connection, and the courage to live beyond boundaries.

At the heart of my journey is compassion—the belief that everyone deserves understanding, dignity, and a sense of belonging. I am passionate about breaking boundaries, challenging outdated norms, and creating environments where individuality is honored and every story is respected. As someone new to this path, I approach my role with humility, openness, and a strong desire to learn and grow. I see this as a strength, allowing me to listen deeply and shape each experience around the people at its center. What I offer is a genuine, thoughtful presence—someone who will take the time to understand your story, your values, and what truly matters to you. I bring empathy, inclusivity, and a commitment to creating ceremonies that feel personal, meaningful, and true to who you are. For me, ordination is not just a title—it’s a responsibility to stand alongside others in life’s most important moments, helping to create experiences that reflect love, connection, and the courage to live beyond boundaries.
