Elvin Christian G. Pua
Ordained Minister in Los Baños, Laguna
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Even though I am agnostic, I am still drawn to modes of divinity. I have become interested in the divinity that the world has socially constructed, which is manifested through language and ways of seeing. Becoming an ordained minister will enables me to navigate, and sometimes reconstruct, ways of seeing, for myself and others fellow humans.

Laguna Province, Philippines
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My primary aspiration for becoming a minister is to offer viewpoints and perspectives on how to face suffering in a cruel universe, through education, philosophy, the sciences, etc.

Additional Information
Similar to the Kakure Kirishitan (Hidden Christians) of Japan, the spiritual atheist rituals and principles of this style aims to be as inconspicuous as possible. As an analog to Christianity being blended into Shintoism and Buddhism by Hidden Christians, spiritual atheism is blended into secular processes which is then translated to personal traditions—inconspicuous but not invisible.
