Paul Mee
Ordained Minister in Westhampton, New York
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I came to ordination after completing conscious dying education with Sacred Crossings Institute, where I trained in end-of-life care rooted in spiritual traditions from many cultures. The work of accompanying people and their families through dying is inherently sacred, and I wanted my ministerial standing to reflect that commitment — not as an abstraction, but as a practical foundation for the ceremonies, rituals, and pastoral presence this work demands.
Where are you from?
Originally from UK, London specifically. Relocating to the US in 2014
Religious Affiliations
Universal Life Church
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Westhampton, NY wedding officiant?
Every ceremony I officiate is built from conversation — from listening to who the couple are, what their story means to them, and what they want the people they love to witness. My background in sacred ritual and visualization techniques has taught me that the ceremonies that matter most are the ones where everyone in the room feels the energy, magnitude, and the joy of the moment. That's what I aim for.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?

Additional Information
What I bring to any ceremony — whether a wedding, a memorial, or an end-of-life vigil — is unhurried, empathetic engagement. I create space for people to feel what they're feeling without rushing them toward the next moment. I also happen to be British, which lends a certain gravitas to proceedings. Or at least that's what people tell me
