Shylah Negron
Ordained Minister in Temple, Pennsylvania
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister online because I didn’t want limitations on how I could serve people. I saw a need for someone who could bridge different spiritual worlds, someone who could stand in both faith-based and alternative traditions without judgment. Whether it’s a Christian wedding, a Wiccan handfasting, or providing comfort in difficult moments, I wanted to be that person who shows up, respects the path someone is on, and helps make their moments sacred and unforgettable.
Where are you from?
Temple, Pennsylvania
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to make a real impact by showing up where people need guidance the most. I want to officiate weddings that actually reflect the couple’s beliefs, perform handfastings for those who follow a Wiccan path, and eventually work in places like jails or with families going through loss. I want to break the idea that ministry has to look one specific way and instead create something real, compassionate, and deeply human.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Temple, PA wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies unique is my ability to honor different spiritual paths without judgment. I'm able to officiate both traditional Christian ceremonies and Wiccan handfastings, and I approach each one with respect and authenticity. This allows couples to feel fully seen and represented, especially if they don't fit into just one spiritual "box."

Marriages, Same-Sex Marriages, Renewal of Vows, Handfastings, Funerals, Spiritual Healing, General Ministry, Spiritual Guidance
Additional Information
Beyond ceremonies, my goal as a minister is to be someone people can turn to in both their highest and lowest moments. I hope to expand my services into areas like jail ministry and supporting individuals who may not always have access to guidance or encouragement. For me, this isn't just about officiating-it's about showing up for people in real, meaningful ways.
