Alejandra Colon
Ordained Minister in Garden Grove, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister after seeing how difficult it could be for couples to find someone who felt both meaningful and affordable. Weddings are deeply personal moments, yet the cost of officiants can sometimes place unnecessary stress on couples who simply want to celebrate their love. I felt called to step into this role so that more people could have ceremonies that feel heartfelt, intentional, and accessible. I believe every couple deserves someone who will honor their love with sincerity, regardless of financial circumstances.
I take love very seriously and hold it deeply in my heart. To me, love is one of the most powerful forces we have—it transforms not only our personal lives, but the world around us. I believe love creates ripples in ways we may never fully see, touching families, communities, and generations to come. It is truly an honor to witness and celebrate the love between two people.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Garden Grove, CA wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the care I take to truly understand each couple’s story. I believe a wedding ceremony should feel personal, heartfelt, and reflective of the love that brought two people together.
Depending on a couple’s preferences, I can bring a tone that feels deeply grounding and reflective—through prayer, affirmations, or meaningful words—or one that gently blends humor and warmth, allowing guests to feel both moved and uplifted. I like to think of each ceremony as a beautiful reflection of the couple’s journey—almost like a heartfelt story about the love that led them to this moment.
Above all, my focus is always on making sure the love between the couple is felt—not just spoken.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I am open to traveling to various locations and working with couples across different communities. I believe meaningful ceremonies should be accessible, and I am always open to working with couples to find an approach that fits their needs and circumstances.

Additional Information
When I lead a ceremony, my intention is always to capture the heart of a couple’s relationship—their story, their laughter, their strength, and the unique love that brought them to this moment. I want each ceremony to feel like a reflection of who they truly are, expressed not only through their vows, but through the words and energy that surround them on their special day.
My goal is for couples and their loved ones to walk away feeling that they didn’t just witness a ceremony, but experienced a meaningful moment that honored love in its truest form.
