Onnalee Brown
Ordained Minister in Macon, Georgia
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I am an ordained minister who felt called to serve others in a deeper, more intentional way. Through my work within my church community and my own life experiences, I’ve come to believe that ministry is rooted in simply showing up—listening with compassion, holding space without judgment, and walking alongside people through life’s most meaningful moments. Becoming ordained online allowed me to step more fully into that calling and extend my ability to serve beyond traditional settings. As both a church administrator and a parent, I understand how important it is to have support during times of joy, transition, and challenge, and I strive to offer that presence to others. My ministry is grounded in the belief that every person has inherent worth and deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for. I am committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space where all people feel valued and supported.
Where are you from?

What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to serve as a source of compassion, presence, and spiritual support for those in my community. As an ordained minister, my calling is to meet people where they are—in moments of joy, grief, uncertainty, and transformation—and to walk alongside them with care and understanding. I strive to create spaces where all feel welcomed, valued, and safe to be their authentic selves. Through listening, guidance, and service, I hope to help others find meaning, healing, and connection in their lives. My ministry is rooted in love, inclusivity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. Above all, I hope to be a steady and supportive presence, offering comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that no one has to walk their path alone.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Macon, GA wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the care and intention I bring to each one. I take the time to truly listen to each couple—their story, their values, and what this moment means to them—so that the ceremony feels deeply personal rather than something one-size-fits-all. I believe a wedding should reflect not just a partnership, but the spirit of the people entering into it. Whether that looks like something spiritual, simple, joyful, or deeply traditional, I work to create a space where couples feel seen, respected, and fully themselves. My role is not just to officiate, but to hold that moment with warmth and presence—to create a ceremony that feels genuine, meaningful, and memorable for everyone involved. At the heart of it, I want each couple to walk away feeling that their love was honored in a way that truly reflects who they are.
