Ordained Minister in ENCINITAS, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became ordained in 2015 so that I could officiate my brother’s wedding. That experience sparked a deeper appreciation for the role of ceremony, ritual, and meaningful transition points in people’s lives.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Indiana, and I’ve lived all over the United States. I currently live in Encinitas, California.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to offer couples a ceremony that feels deeply personal, grounded, and meaningful, one that honors the significance of the commitment they’re making. My intention is to help create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and able to step into their union with clarity, presence, and intention.

I was raised Christian, and I currently follow an Eastern spiritual path. I deeply respect and support all belief systems. My approach is interfaith, inclusive, and non-dogmatic.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a ENCINITAS, CA wedding officiant?
My ceremonies are highly personalized and collaborative. I am trauma-informed and bring a background in Internal Family Systems, somatic experiencing, and relational work with individuals and couples. I am comfortable working across a wide range of spiritual belief systems and languages, and I prioritize creating ceremonies that feel authentic to each couple rather than prescribed or traditional by default. My focus is on presence, attunement, and co-creating a meaningful experience that reflects who the couple truly is.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I am based in Encinitas, California. I primarily serve the greater San Diego area, which offers many beautiful and meaningful locations for ceremonies. I am also open to travel depending on the needs of the couple and the nature of the ceremony.

Additional Information
I am especially interested in creating sacred, intentional spaces that honor life transitions. I approach ceremonies as a co-creative process with the couple and, when desired, their families or community. I support people in designing rituals that feel alive and grounded—whether that’s traditional, non-traditional, spiritual, secular, or somewhere in between. My work is about supporting threshold moments with depth, care, and presence.
