Alicia Mills
Ordained Minister in Spicewood, Texas
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I didn’t become an ordained minister online out of convenience I did it out of calling. My life has walked through valleys most people only read about, and through every single one, God never left me. From working in high-intensity environments alongside law enforcement and in K9 handling, to facing deep personal trauma and loss, I’ve seen both the darkness of this world and the unshakable light of Christ. That kind of perspective changes you it doesn’t let you sit still. I became ordained because I felt a responsibility to step into the gap for others. Not from a place of perfection, but from a place of obedience. I’ve spent years helping people physically and mentally push through fear, pain, and survival and now I’m called to do that spiritually as well. Whether it’s counseling, prayer, guiding others through life’s hardest moments, or simply standing beside someone when they feel alone, I want to be a vessel God can use. As a wife, a mother, a student pursuing trauma counseling, and someone deeply rooted in faith, my mission is to meet people right where they are especially those who feel forgotten, broken, or too far gone. Because the truth is, no one is too far gone. God doesn’t waste pain. He redeems it. “Praise be to the God…who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3–4). This isn’t just something I do it’s who I am.
