Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became ordained online to expand my ability to serve others in meaningful and personal ways. My work has always been rooted in helping people through significant life transitions, and being bilingual in Spanish allows me to connect with and support a broader community. This allows me to approach those moments with intention, accessibility, and compassion.
Where are you from?
I am originally from a small rural community in Iowa. I have since lived in multiple cities across the United States and abroad (NYC, Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, and Madrid). Those experiences have shaped my perspective and deepened my understanding of diverse communities.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination? I hope to provide guidance and support during important life events such as weddings and other ceremonies. Being bilingual in Spanish allows me to serve a wider range of individuals and families in a more inclusive way, including those in the LGBTQ+ community and those seeking gender-affirming spaces. Ultimately, I want to create meaningful, personalized experiences where people feel seen, respected, and supported.

While I am rooted in the ELCA Lutheran tradition, I approach my work with openness and respect for all faiths and belief systems. I have experience with ceremonies across many religious backgrounds, as well as purely secular ceremonies - I've even performed a ceremony with an Elvis impersonator. I am able to officiate ceremonies incorporating elements from any tradition in a thoughtful, appropriate way that honors each couple’s beliefs and values.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a LAWRENCEVILLE, GA wedding officiant?
My ceremonies are thoughtful, personalized, and grounded in genuine care for the individuals involved. I take the time to understand each couple’s story, values, and vision, and reflect that in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. As a bilingual officiant, I am also able to make ceremonies more inclusive and accessible, while affirming and celebrating all couples, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. I adapt seamlessly to different visions and environments. I focus on creating ceremonies that feel authentic, meaningful, and tailored to each couple.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I am based in Gwinnett County in the Atlanta metro area, and most couples choose to have small, simple ceremonies in my office. I also officiate throughout the surrounding region and am open to travel. In addition to local ceremonies, I have conducted weddings in Malibu, California and Costa Rica, along with a variety of venues such as parks and barns, and I adapt easily to different settings and preferences.
