John Galeotos
Ordained Minister in Cheyenne, Wyoming
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I initially sought ordination to officiate my daughter’s wedding… an experience which is shaping how I understand ceremony… as something personal, intentional, and deeply human.
I was baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church, and while that tradition remains part of my foundation, my path has expanded to include Hermetic philosophy and a more individual approach to meaning and ritual.
I have been influenced by texts such as the Kybalion, I see ceremony not as performance, but as a structured moment of awareness… a way of marking transition with clarity and purpose.
My approach is minimalist by design… focused on the individuals involved rather than tradition for its own sake. Whether I am officiating a wedding, vow renewal, or personal rite of passage, I work to create a space that feels authentic… grounded, sincere, and free of unnecessary ornament.
I meet people where they are… allowing each ceremony to reflect its own meaning rather than conform to expectation.
