Claudia Laura Williams
Ordained Minister in Xenia, Ohio
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister in 2022 out of a deep desire to serve people during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Through my work in hospitality and event planning at Orchard Lane Events, I saw firsthand how important it is for ceremonies to feel personal, intentional, and authentic—not just formalities, but true reflections of each individual, couple, or family.
What began as a way to better support couples hosting weddings at my venue quickly grew into a true calling. Since then, I have had the honor of officiating numerous weddings across Ohio, both at Orchard Lane and in private settings, as well as leading quinceanera ceremonies that celebrate faith, family, and cultural tradition. I have also officiated vow renewals, helping couples celebrate lasting love and new chapters in their journey together.
As a bilingual minister, fluent in both English and Spanish, I am especially passionate about serving diverse families and creating ceremonies that bridge cultures and generations. I am able to officiate fully in either language or seamlessly blend both, ensuring that every guest feels included, understood, and connected to the moment.
In addition, I am currently expanding my ministry by training to officiate funeral and celebration-of-life ceremonies, with the same level of care, compassion, and personalization. Supporting families during times of remembrance and honoring loved ones is a responsibility I approach with deep respect and empathy.
My ministry is rooted in connection, respect, and personalization. I take time to understand each person’s story, values, and vision, and I craft ceremonies that feel heartfelt, inclusive, and memorable. Whether it’s a wedding, quinceanera, vow renewal, or a moment of remembrance, my goal is always the same—to create a meaningful experience that honors the moment and leaves a lasting impact on everyone present.
Where are you from?
I am originally from the border town of Tijuana, Mexico. I legally immigrated to Southern California, where I was raised in San Bernardino. In 2013, I relocated to Ohio when my husband accepted a great job with a contractor near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my online ordination, I hope to continue serving individuals and families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives, while growing a ministry rooted in connection, cultural inclusivity, and personalization.
What began as a way to support ceremonies at my venue has evolved into a deeper calling. I want to expand my ability to officiate not only weddings, quinceaneras, and vow renewals, but also to provide compassionate guidance and leadership for funeral and celebration-of-life services. My goal is to be someone families can trust during both joyful milestones and times of remembrance.
As a bilingual minister, I also hope to bridge language and cultural gaps by offering ceremonies in both English and Spanish, ensuring that every guest feels included and every tradition is honored.
Ultimately, I want to build a ministry that creates meaningful, memorable experiences—ceremonies that truly reflect each person’s story and leave a lasting impact on those in attendance.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Xenia, OH wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the level of personalization, cultural understanding, and genuine care I bring to each experience. No two ceremonies I officiate are ever the same—I take the time to truly get to know each couple or family, their story, their values, and what matters most to them, and I reflect that in every word of the ceremony.
As a bilingual minister, I am able to seamlessly incorporate both English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with diverse families and ensure that every guest feels included and engaged. This is especially meaningful for multicultural celebrations where honoring both traditions and languages is important.
My background in hospitality and event management also allows me to approach ceremonies with a strong sense of organization, flow, and attention to detail. I understand how each moment fits within the overall event, and I work closely with couples and coordinators to ensure the ceremony feels smooth, intentional, and memorable.
Above all, I lead with heart. Whether it’s a wedding, quinceanera, or vow renewal, I strive to create a ceremony that feels authentic, emotional, and meaningful—something that not only reflects the couple’s love, but leaves a lasting impression on everyone present.
