Sound Journeys
Ordained Minister in Everett, Washington
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I needed the credential for a cosmetics job opportunity, and then it organically grew into something deeper and more meaningful for me.
Over time, that “practical” step opened doors into spiritual coaching, life events like weddings and ceremonies, and a way to support people more holistically - not just in how they look, but in how they feel, heal, and move through major transitions in life.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from the Puget Sound area in Washington State, and I grew up in Edmonds and Everett, where I’m now based as an adult.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to blend practical support and spiritual care by officiating life events, offering spiritual and life coaching, and helping people navigate major transitions with compassion, dignity, and a sense of personal empowerment.
Religious Affiliations
Catholicism
Additional Information
I grew up Catholic and attending Catholic Schools including courses at Seattle University.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Everett, WA wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is how personal and intentional they are; I don’t just “perform” a script, I help create a moment that actually feels like the couple.
Personal connection
- I take time to learn the couple’s story, values, and vision so the ceremony feels like “them,” not a generic template.
- Because my background is in holistic support and coaching, I’m comfortable having deeper conversations that help couples clarify what they want their marriage to stand for.
Calm, grounded presence
- I bring a calm, organized, and reassuring presence, which helps nervous couples and wedding parties feel more at ease in the moment.
- My style is warm and approachable rather than rigid or overly formal, so guests feel invited into the experience instead of just watching it.
Blending practical and meaningful
- I’m very detail-oriented with logistics, timing, and legal requirements, so the couple can relax knowing everything will be handled correctly.
- At the same time, I focus on the emotional and spiritual significance of the day, using language that honors their beliefs-whether religious, spiritual, or more secular.
Focus on transitions and healing
- Because I see my ministry as helping people move through major life transitions, I treat a wedding as more than an event; it’s a threshold moment for the couple, their families, and their future.
- I aim for guests to walk away feeling not only that it was beautiful, but that it was meaningful, inclusive, and truly reflective of the couple’s journey.
