Ma Carmela Rosales Dayoan
Ordained Minister in San Jose, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I pursued online ordination to align my lifelong calling with legal and administrative recognition, especially as I continue to serve in the United States while maintaining ministry connections in the Philippines.
Being ordained online allowed me to formalize the calling that has already shaped my life for years. It also provides the flexibility to minister across different locations and contexts, especially as I live and serve between two worlds.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in the Philippines, where I actively served in church leadership and ministry. In 2016, I moved to the United States just before my 22nd birthday. Today, I consider both the Philippines and the U.S. home, as God has allowed me to serve and build community in both nations.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my online ordination, I hope to continue serving with integrity, authority, and greater responsibility. I desire to officiate weddings, lead sacraments, disciple young leaders, and support families in meaningful spiritual milestones.
More than the title, I want to steward the calling faithfully - raising disciples, strengthening the local church, and extending ministry beyond walls and borders. My prayer is to live out Philippians 3:7–10 and to see lives transformed by the Gospel wherever God sends me.
