Wayne Clark
Ordained Minister in Knoxville, Tennessee
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister because I felt a genuine calling to walk with people through some of the most meaningful and sacred moments of their lives. I’ve seen how powerful it is when individuals and couples feel supported, spiritually grounded, and truly present during times of commitment and transition. Ordination allowed me to step into that calling in a legitimate and accessible way, so I could serve others with intention, care, and integrity.
Where are you from?
I am originally from Beaumont, Texas, and I currently live in Knoxville, Tennessee. Both places have shaped who I am — Beaumont grounding me in strong values and resilience, and Knoxville deepening my sense of community, service, and compassion. While Knoxville is home, I am available to travel and serve individuals and couples across the United States.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my ordination, I hope to provide meaningful, legally recognized ceremonies and pastoral support that people genuinely remember and cherish. Whether officiating weddings, offering premarital counseling, or supporting individuals through important life moments, my goal is to create spaces that feel safe, intentional, and honoring. I want people to walk away feeling seen, supported, and confident that their moment was handled with care, respect, and presence.

Additional Information
I am an ordained minister who approaches faith with sincerity, humility, and respect for each individual’s beliefs. While my foundation is faith-based, I believe ministry should meet people where they are, not force them into a specific expression. I am comfortable working with couples and individuals from a variety of spiritual backgrounds and levels of belief, and I tailor ceremonies and services in a way that honors both faith and personal values. My focus is on presence, commitment, and integrity rather than labels, creating space that feels authentic, respectful, and meaningful.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Knoxville, TN wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the intentional presence I bring to each moment. I don’t rush ceremonies, and I don’t treat them as a script to get through. I take time to ground the room, honor the couple’s story, and create space for a moment that feels real, meaningful, and remembered. Couples often tell me that the ceremony felt calm, personal, and deeply respectful of what they were committing to. My focus is not performance, but presence — making sure the couple feels seen, supported, and fully present in their moment.
