Melissa Mosier
Ordained Minister in Midland, Texas
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Not everyone fits neatly into traditional ministry boxes. Online ordination often attracts people who lead in workplaces, communities, families, and crises, not just sanctuaries. It removes barriers for women, divorced individuals, people with unconventional paths, or those who felt called but shut out elsewhere.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Midland, TX wedding officiant?
I don’t perform weddings. I hold space for them. I take time to understand the couple’s story, not just how they met, but what they’ve survived, chosen, and built. The ceremony reflects them, not a template. No filler. No cliches for the sake of tradition. Every line has a reason for being there. If it’s spoken, it matters.
Types of Service Offered
Same-Sex Marriages, Renewal of Vows, Funerals, House Blessings, Spiritual Healing, General Ministry, Spiritual Guidance
Additional Information
Weddings can be emotional, joyful, and chaotic all at once. I bring steadiness. That grounded energy helps couples stay present instead of overwhelmed. When faith is part of the couple’s story, I honor it with sincerity and care. When it isn’t, I still honor meaning, commitment, and covenant without pretending to be something we’re not. The ceremony feels personal and intimate, but it runs smoothly, confidently, and on time. Guests feel it. Couples feel it. No awkward pauses. No rambling.
