Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
My desire to enter the ministry stems from a legacy my family built long before me. I've seen the gospel lived out through my grandparents, who opened their home, took in unwanted children, and spoke truth to power. Their example showed me that faith is a public service, and by becoming a minister and Christian counselor, I am to continue their values of compassion and stewardship in today's world.
Where are you from?
I'm 3rd generation from Tampa, FL. My ancestors came to Ybor City. And I now serve the North Tampa/Lutz area.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I believe in holistic healing for integrated care, I want to destigmatize mental health in the church, I'd like to restore the "family altar", fulfill ministry in the "in between spaces", & lastly the fulfillment of the "Comforter Role."
