Brotha Blak
Ordained Minister in Las Vegas, Nevada
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I got ordained because love sent me, worship sustained me, the streets trained me, and JESUS kept me—so everything I am and everything I build stays under one banner: GOD Over Everything. I didn’t get ordained to “be somebody.” I got ordained to stay accountable to the Somebody who called me. I’m a pastor’s grandchild (Reverend Johnny Harris), raised Baptist, baptized in a Roman Catholic church at 8, and sharpened through many streams of Christianity—from Apostolic to Episcopalian, with Methodist certification. But more than titles and training, I’ve lived the call.
In 2010, ABBA pushed me into the streets of Las Vegas—not for a moment, but for a mission. We fed the hungry, clothed the homeless, served low-income families, and kept faith-based recovery housing for men, women, and families. And from day one, I praise-danced for JESUS on the Las Vegas Strip in front of the M&M Store—not because money got low, but because the dance WAS the seed. The dance started it, funded it, supported it, and helped maintain it. Worship wasn’t an add-on. Worship was the engine. Provision followed obedience.
I became ordained online to make official in the natural what was already settled in the Spirit—so I could move with recognized standing, order, and integrity while serving anywhere: street outreach, counseling, recovery support, hospital visits, weddings, funerals, and ministry work that meets people where they actually are.
Scripture anchors: Isaiah 25:4 — Matthew 25:35–40 James 1:27 — Romans 12:1 — Matthew 6:33
Where are you from?
I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin—born and raised where grit meets grace, and where faith had to be real, not rehearsed. My story has mileage, and every move added a layer to the mantle.
Milwaukee is my beginning, but the journey is the shaping: In 2000, I moved to Inglewood, California—where I learned survival, culture, and cadence. In 2002, Oceanside, California—where I learned flow, discipline, and how to carry peace in motion. In 2004, Las Vegas, Nevada—where the wilderness turned into witness and the assignment got louder. In 2006, Gardena, California—where I learned refinement, responsibility, and how to move with purpose. Then in 2010, I returned to Las Vegas—where the calling became public service and street ministry became my “yes” in real time.
And my roots run deeper than the map: Mississippi on my father’s side and Missouri on my mother’s side—foundation roots that remind me I’m part of a people, a lineage, and a responsibility.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My ordination is the stamp in the natural on an assignment already written in heaven: GOE is the engine, the music is the calling card, and the mission is to clothe and gather GOD’s children into safe havens to endure to the end. I’m building GOE—GOD Over Everything—with a clear end-time assignment: clothe, cover, and cultivate GOD’s children with global reach, and establish safe havens for the last days—places to flee to, heal in, and be fortified in when the world grows darker.
My online ordination is a spiritual and practical tool to: 1. Officialize my authority to counsel, guide, and organize GOD’s children with order and accountability. 2. Pursue certification and credibility to counsel responsibly, help people endure hardship, and strengthen the body to “endure to the end.” 3. Scale outreach through GOE Creations and my music—so what I create becomes the new engine that funds the mission, clothes the homeless, and clothes GOD’s children with purpose, identity, and covering. 4. Build Revelation Church as a living community where the Fruits of the SPIRIT are not theory, but evidence—where disciples are made, families are strengthened, and warriors are trained.
Scripture anchors: Galatians 5:22–23 — Matthew 24:13 Isaiah 25:4 — Mark 16:15 — Revelation 12:11
Religious Affiliations
None
Additional Information
I’m not locked into one denomination—that’s why “None” fits. I’m Christ-centered and Bible-based, and I’ve been shaped by many expressions of Christianity (raised Baptist, baptized Catholic, trained across Apostolic through Episcopalian, with Methodist certification). I honor the Body of CHRIST, and I serve people with love, truth, and order—without religious politics. My focus is JESUS, the Word, and walking out the mission: GOD Over Everything.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Las Vegas, NV wedding officiant?
My ceremonies are special because they’re not “cookie-cutter”—they’re covenant-centered, Spirit-led, and built around the couple’s real story. I take time to learn who you are, what you’ve overcome, and where you’re going, then I craft a ceremony that feels like YOU while still honoring GOD and the seriousness of marriage. I bring love, warmth, and reverence, and I’m careful to cover both the legal requirements and the spiritual foundation with excellence. I can include prayer, scripture, and a moment of blessing without making it feel stiff or scripted—because love should feel alive. “What therefore GOD hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” (Matthew 19:6) and “Love is patient, love is kind…” (1 Corinthians 13).
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I’m based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I serve locally throughout the Las Vegas Valley (North Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, and surrounding areas). I’m also available to travel anywhere GOD calls me—nationwide or beyond—when travel expenses are arranged and paid up front (flight/transportation, lodging if needed, and any required permits/fees). I’m experienced serving in diverse communities and settings, from intimate ceremonies to larger gatherings, and I’m committed to bringing excellence, love, and spiritual covering wherever I go.

Additional Information
Yes. I provide more than ceremonies—I provide covering. I offer faith-based counseling, premarital guidance, prayer support, and encouragement rooted in the Word, with a focus on helping GOD’s people endure and stay aligned. I also serve through outreach: feeding, clothing, and supporting those in need, and I’m building GOE Creations and my music (JBlakOnDaG) as the engine that will help clothe the homeless and bless GOD’s children on a wider scale. My ministry is about transforming lives, not just hosting moments—helping people grow into the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) and stand strong to the end (Matthew 24:13).
