Victoria D. Nies
Ordained Minister in San Diego, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became a minister because I’ve seen firsthand how powerful a real connection with God can be. I believe faith isn’t meant to feel distant, complicated, or reserved for a select few—it’s meant to be lived, felt, and experienced in everyday moments.
Where are you from?
San Diego, CA
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My calling is to help people reconnect with God in a way that feels authentic, personal, and full of grace. Whether I’m officiating a marriage, celebrating a baptism, or walking alongside someone during a meaningful life transition, my heart is always the same: to create space for God’s presence, love, and truth to be felt.
I consider it an honor to stand with people in sacred moments—moments of commitment, renewal, healing, and joy—and to remind them that God meets us exactly where we are. My ministry is rooted in compassion, faith, and the belief that every person is worthy of love, purpose, and a deeper relationship with Him.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a San Diego, CA wedding officiant?
My ceremonies are deeply personal and intentionally meaningful. I take time to know each couple—their story, their values, their faith, and what this commitment truly means to them. No two ceremonies are ever the same, because no two love stories are the same.
I create ceremonies that feel holy but not heavy, joyful but reverent, and faith-centered without feeling forced. Whether a couple wants Scripture woven throughout or a softer spiritual tone, I meet them where they are while keeping God at the center.
My goal is that when the ceremony ends, couples don’t just feel married—they feel covered, seen, and blessed. Guests often say the ceremony felt intimate, peaceful, and powerful—like they witnessed something sacred, not scripted.

Additional Information
What makes my ministry special is that it’s rooted in lived experience, not just words. I don’t minister from above—I walk alongside people. I understand brokenness, redemption, healing, and grace because I’ve lived it. That allows me to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment, pressure, or pretense.
I create space for people to feel safe with God again. For many, faith has been complicated or painful. My calling is to help strip away fear and performance and remind people that God is near, loving, and deeply personal. My ministry is gentle, Spirit-led, and grounded in truth—focused on connection, not perfection.
I don’t rush sacred moments. I honor them.
