Siobahn L. Rogers
Ordained Minister in Auburn, Washington
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I felt a deep calling to honor love in all its forms and to serve couples during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. I saw a need for ceremonies that felt personal, inclusive, and free from rigid traditions—ceremonies that truly reflect who a couple is, not who they’re expected to be. Online ordination allowed me to step into this role with intention, offering a legitimate and accessible way to create heartfelt wedding ceremonies rooted in authenticity, respect, and connection.

What distinguishes my ceremonies is the intentional care I bring to both the ceremony itself and the foundation of the marriage it celebrates. Each ceremony is thoughtfully curated—never templated—drawing from the couple’s values, communication styles, and shared vision for marriage. In alignment with Washington State’s encouragement of marriage preparation, I take time to help couples reflect on commitment, partnership, and the meaning of their vows, ensuring the ceremony is not only beautiful, but deeply grounded and purposeful. Every detail is approached with a boutique level of attention, creating a ceremony experience that feels refined, personal, and effortlessly meaningful—one that resonates long after the day itself.
