Rev Ben Pope
Ordained Minister in Verwood, England
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I love studying Theology and think all religions have something to offer. I wanted to be able to perform various ministry services, for various religions and spiritual paths. I feeled called to this, but don't want to be stuck in a single religion, and ULC allows me to do this.
Where are you from?
Dorset, England. A rural area in the United Kingdom.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
To perform ceremonies in a way that suits you, tailed to your needs. I also want to provide spiritual guidance for those who feel called to religion and/or spirituality, but aren't sure what path is right for them. And also help people to learn more about their chosen relgion and help those that might be struggling with their faith. I think belief systems are important.
Religious Affiliations
Christianity, Hellenic Reconstructionism, Hinduism, Neopaganism, Protestantism, Spiritualism, Taoism, Unitarian Universalism, Universal Life Church
Additional Information
My personal beliefs align most with Unitarian Universalism. But i am extremely well versed with Christianity and the Bible. I also know about Pagan religions and ceremonies, Taoist philosophy and am currently studying Hinduism and Hellenism. I love and respect all of these, and take aspects of them into my own beliefs as a UU.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I am happy to work all over the Dorset area in the UK, but would consider travelling further.

Additional Information
I also do spiritual guidance work to help those that feel drawn to spirituality and religion but aren't sure what path is for them.
I also know alot about the Christian Bible and am happy to help with understanding the scripture.
And finally I am here to help with those struggling with their faith. As most of these services can be done online, I don't charge. I only charge for the various ceremonies or anything that'll take a significant amount of my time.
