Alexes Heaster
Ordained Minister in Mount Union, Pennsylvania
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I felt a clear calling to serve people in some of the most meaningful moments of their lives—moments of love, commitment, healing, loss, and spiritual renewal. Ministry, to me, is about being present where God is already working. Online ordination allowed me to step into that calling in a practical way, removing unnecessary barriers and enabling me to meet people exactly where they are. I believe God uses willing hearts more than titles, and ordination gave me the opportunity to serve with intention, compassion, and spiritual authority.
Where are you from?
I am from Mount Union, Pennsylvania—a small, close-knit town surrounded by rivers, lakes, rolling hills, and some of the most breathtaking fall scenery you’ll ever see. Autumn here brings vibrant colors, crisp air, and peaceful landscapes that make ceremonies feel intimate, sacred, and unforgettable. The surrounding waters also create a beautiful and symbolic setting for baptisms, reflecting renewal, cleansing, and new life. Add in our stunning sunsets, and Mount Union becomes a naturally God-crafted backdrop for sacred moments.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My hope is to create Christ-centered, love-filled experiences that people will remember for a lifetime. Whether it’s joining two hearts in marriage, celebrating a renewed commitment, welcoming a child into faith, or walking with a family through grief, my goal is to serve with grace, sincerity, and deep respect for each person’s journey. I hope to be a minister who brings peace, reassurance, and God’s presence into every ceremony I lead. As a college student for Liberty University and Colorado Christian University; adds a special touch.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Mount Union, PA wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the heart behind them. I don’t believe a wedding should feel rushed, generic, or scripted. I take time to truly listen to each couple’s story—their journey, their faith, their struggles, and the love that brought them together. From there, I prayerfully craft a ceremony that reflects who they are and honors the commitment they are making before God and one another. I bring a calm, reassuring presence, blending Scripture, meaningful words, and intentional moments that allow couples and their loved ones to feel the sacredness of the occasion. Whether standing beneath autumn leaves, beside still waters at sunset, or in a traditional setting, my goal is to create a ceremony that feels deeply personal, Christ-centered, and full of love—one that couples remember not just for how it looked, but for how it felt.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I primarily serve Mount Union and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania, especially locations near rivers, lakes, and outdoor spaces that naturally enhance ceremonies—particularly baptisms, weddings, and vow renewals. I have a special appreciation for outdoor services during the fall season, when the landscape reflects God’s creativity through color, light, and stillness. Travel outside the immediate area can be discussed as needed; anything outside Blair, Huntingdon & Mifflin County.

I approach every service with love, reverence, and genuine passion. No two ceremonies are ever the same because no two stories are the same.
