Kellye Houck
Ordained Minister in Sedona, Arizona
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister to formally support and honor pagan spiritual paths that are often underrepresented or misunderstood. Ordination gave me a recognized framework to legally and ethically officiate rites, ceremonies, and life passages such as handfastings, seasonal rituals, blessings, and end-of-life services, while remaining true to pagan values rooted in nature, personal sovereignty, and spiritual inclusivity. It allowed me to serve my community in a way that is accessible, non-dogmatic, and respectful of diverse pagan traditions, while providing legitimacy in spaces where formal recognition is required.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Sedona, AZ wedding officiant?
I offer organic marriage ceremonies and end-of-life services that are deeply personal, nature-centered, and guided by respect for individual beliefs. Each ceremony is thoughtfully created to honor the people involved, their values, and the natural cycles of life, love, and transition.
Organic Marriage Ceremonies are handcrafted celebrations of union, rooted in authenticity and intention. Whether inspired by pagan, earth-based, spiritual, or non-religious traditions, these ceremonies emphasize heartfelt connection, mutual respect, and sacred partnership. Ritual elements may include handfasting, blessings of the elements, seasonal symbolism, or simple spoken vows, always tailored to reflect the couple’s unique bond.
End-of-Life Services provide compassionate, grounded support during times of transition, honoring life with dignity, presence, and reverence. These services may include vigil holding, blessings, guided reflection, memorial ceremonies, or gentle rituals that acknowledge the sacredness of passing. The focus is on comfort, honoring legacy, and supporting loved ones through grief in a calm, non-dogmatic, and inclusive space.
Both offerings are created with care, sensitivity, and deep respect for personal spirituality, nature, and the natural rhythms of life’s beginnings and endings.
