Antonia Joanna DeZutti
Ordained Minister in Villa Park, Illinois
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became ordained online to update my credentials, and to align myself with a kinder, more accepting organization. I was originally trained and ordained as a Chaplain in 2015, and have since found myself growing more towards a ministry of complete, accepting and affirming love for all. I wanted to represent myself as I truly am-and Universal Life Church checked all the boxes for me. I am free to spread the love unconditionally!
Where are you from?
I live in the same town I grew up in, about 18 miles west of Chicago, Illinois.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
To nurture the spirit in all who cross my path, in whatever way I am called to do so.

My spirituality is my own unique blend of kindness, love, and honoring others. This has been developed internally through my many years of observing spirit in myself and others. Everyone has a unique spiritual life, as do I-and I try to tailor my services to what my clients need. All that to say, I try my best to be as spiritually versatile as possible.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Villa Park, IL wedding officiant?
My particular style is that of creating an atmosphere of warmth and relating. I love to put the participants at ease with an aura of love and acceptance. Before performing a wedding ceremony, I like to get to know the couple and really truly listen to what they want to represent their special day. I provide a timeline to target specific goal-setting milestones, and when it gets down to it, I deliver a sweet and heartwarming service to honor the couple.

Additional Information
Having delivered many different services, I have found one thing that ties everyone together-the need and desire to be heard and accepted. Many times the simplest acts of kindness and patience can make or break an important event. Perhaps the bride or groom is overwhelmed and needs a hug. Sometimes the funeral participants need a listening ear. There have been times that the only thing a person needs is an honest attempt at meeting them exactly where they are at that moment without judgement. I strive to offer that kind of love daily.
