Sati
Ordained Minister in Upland, Pennsylvania
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I first became ordained to officiate my niece’s wedding, a moment that touched me more deeply than I expected. What began as a loving gesture for family quickly revealed itself as a calling. I’ve planned weddings for close friends for years, but guiding a couple through the ceremony itself—holding space for their love, their story, and their future, felt profoundly meaningful. That experience opened my heart to this path, and I now embrace officiating as a true extension of who I am.
Where are you from?
I was raised in the Philadelphia area, but my life has been beautifully shaped by living around the world. I spent six years in London, two years in India, a year in Australia, and the last two decades in California before returning home to the Philly region. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for culture, connection, and the many ways love is celebrated across the globe. I’m happily based in the Philadelphia area, but I’m always willing to travel—whether it’s nearby, across the country, or for a meaningful destination wedding.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I didn’t fully realize it until I became ordained, but being present for people during life’s most meaningful rites of passage is profoundly fulfilling for me. Holding space during these sacred moments—whether joyful, emotional, or transformative—feels like a true privilege. In this work, I hope to receive the honor of guiding others with compassion, intention, and a genuine heart.

Additional Information
Throughout my life, I’ve been drawn to spirit and to the universal threads that connect all spiritual traditions. That curiosity has led me to explore many philosophies and faiths—beginning with being raised Catholic, and continuing through a four-year study of multiple spiritual lineages and two esoteric paths. These experiences have shaped a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people seek connection, meaning, and the divine. I honor all beliefs and all journeys, and I approach each ceremony with openness, respect, and a genuine reverence for the truths that guide you—whatever name you give them.
