Amber Marie Young Bonlander

I originally became ordained so I could be present as a Minister for my friends and family.

Having been a VFF/EMT for many years of my life, I also believe a Fire Chaplain is an important role in the firefighting community. To continue working towards reaching my goals in Volunteer Ministry, I continue to study, learn, experience, and practice the common day niceties that should make most of us NICE HUMAN BEINGS.

I am from the Midwest, multiple states, over multiple decades. My children and grandchildren live in the Tri-State area of Cincinnati; my sisters live in our home state; and my parents and I have moved to Florida. We are crazy! I have been here almost a year, and it has been going on for 3 years for them. To be close, I live on the same street as they do, about 2 blocks down from them. My opinion about living here is 50/50. I love some aspects, but miss the change in seasons! I don't know if I ever will stop loving snowstorms!

I want to grow into more volunteer opportunities to serve the Lord as a Minister. I walk on his path daily, I pray daily, and I trust daily he is leading me forward.

I am open to learning new religions and in turn, hope others seek me out for a holistic view and approach to my walk with the Lord.

I am very much an empath when it comes to interactions with others. I pick up quickly on vibes, feeling out the room, etc. By being an open being, I am able to turn the script around and accommodate my couple with their hopes and wishes for their special moment!
