Harry Shouppe
Ordained Minister in Van buren, Arkansas
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became a wedding officiant because I believe there is no greater honor than standing with two people at the moment they commit their lives to one another. For me, it is more than a role—it is a calling rooted in respect for love, family, and the power of a shared promise. Over the years, I have seen how a well-crafted ceremony can set the tone for an entire marriage. I wanted to be part of that moment, not just as a witness, but as someone who helps create an experience the couple will carry with them for the rest of their lives. The opportunity to bring comfort, clarity, and a steady presence during one of the most emotional moments of a couple’s journey is something I value deeply. Becoming an officiant allows me to blend storytelling, sincerity, and tradition in a way that honors each couple’s unique bond. Every ceremony I lead is a reminder of why I chose this path: to celebrate commitment, uplift love, and help create a moment that feels genuine, grounded, and unforgettable.

Every ceremony I lead is built on one core belief: your wedding day should feel unmistakably yours. As your officiant, I take the time to understand who you are as individuals and as a couple, ensuring that every word spoken reflects your story, your values, and the commitment you are choosing to make. My approach is a balance of warmth, sincerity, and steady professionalism. I guide each ceremony with a calm and reassuring presence, creating a comfortable atmosphere where emotion can rise naturally and joy can be fully felt. Whether your vision leans rustic, traditional, modern, or deeply personal, I shape your ceremony with intention—honoring meaningful traditions, celebrating your unique bond, and giving thoughtful attention to the moments that matter most.
