Megan Meese
Ordained Minister in Mililani, Hawaii
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I chose to become an ordained minister online because I believe that love, in all its forms, is sacred. Every soul deserves the right to celebrate love and commitment in a way that feels authentic to them. To me, being ordained isn’t about titles or institutions — it’s about honoring the deep spiritual connection that exists between people and recognizing that love itself is a divine expression.
I wanted to be able to hold space for that — for couples of all backgrounds, beliefs, genders, and identities. Becoming ordained was my way of saying that no one should be denied the blessing of being seen, celebrated, and joined in love. I see it as part of my spiritual path: to help others experience unity, acceptance, and the sacredness of connection.
