Ayisha Holman-Brown
Ordained Minister in Greenfield, Wisconsin
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister online because I wanted to help couples, especially those within the LGBTQ community, celebrate their love in a way that feels genuine, inclusive, and meaningful. As a proud member of the community and someone happily married to my wife, I understand how powerful it is to have your love recognized and respected. Too often, LGBTQ couples face challenges finding officiants who fully embrace their love stories, and I wanted to be someone who does just that.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I spent a few years living in Las Vegas before moving back home to Milwaukee in 2025, where I live with my wife and our two daughters. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and they continue to inspire me to spread love, acceptance, and understanding in every part of my work.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to connect with couples who might not have access to an officiant who truly understands them. My goal is to create heartfelt, memorable ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique bond and remind them that their love deserves to be celebrated openly and beautifully.

My focus is on love, unity, and authenticity—values that transcend any one religion.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Greenfield, WI wedding officiant?
My ceremonies are special because I take the time to truly get to know each couple and what makes their love unique. Every relationship has its own story, and I believe the ceremony should reflect that. Whether it’s a traditional wedding, a same-sex marriage, or a vow renewal, I create a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels seen, supported, and celebrated. My goal is to make each moment heartfelt and personal so that couples walk away feeling that their ceremony truly represented who they are.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I primarily serve couples in Milwaukee and the surrounding cities, but I’m also happy to travel throughout Wisconsin, including Madison, Green Bay, and the areas in between. I’m familiar with many beautiful venues and outdoor spaces across the state, which helps me work closely with couples to create the perfect ceremony setting. I also enjoy officiating weddings in the Chicago area and love being part of celebrations that bring people together across state lines. Whether it’s a small, intimate gathering or a larger event, I’m always excited to help make each ceremony meaningful and memorable.
