Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
As a former US Ambassador and as a gay man married to my husband, together for 36 years, many friends have asked for me to officiate their wedding. We were the first gay couple to serve in the Ambassador capacity in the Western Hemisphere and have continually fought for marriage quality worldwide.

I have a great faith and am a Christian but believe that the spirit inside each person can be different. I believe that whatever your faith, your marriage or union should be celebrated in your way and in your beliefs.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Dallas, TX wedding officiant?
As the first LGBTQ couple to serve the United States as US Ambassador in the Western Hemisphere, I understand the challenges of LGBTQ couples and what they face with many religious institutions across the globe. As a strong Christian I believe that love is a special gift and should be celebrated.
