Nicholas Adam Evans
Ordained Minister in Liberty Township, Ohio
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online so I could officiate weddings for friends and family. What began as a way to help celebrate a few special moments has turned into something more meaningful an opportunity to be part of people’s most important days and to create ceremonies that reflect their unique stories and values. The experience opened my eyes to how meaningful it can be to help people mark life’s big milestones with warmth, humor, and authenticity. Since then, I’ve enjoyed helping others craft ceremonies that feel personal, inclusive, and memorable.
Where are you from?
I’m from Hamilton, Ohio a city that carries both the grit of its industrial past and the heart of a community that never stops reinventing itself. Nestled along the Great Miami River, Hamilton has always felt like a place where creativity and hard work meet. Growing up here means knowing the rhythm of small-town life mixed with the hum of factories, family-owned shops, and Friday night lights at the local high school.
Over the years, Hamilton has transformed into a city that celebrates art, music, and connection. The murals downtown, the riverside concerts, and the sense of local pride that fills places like Pyramid Hill and Rivers Edge remind me how deeply people here care about their home. It’s a place where neighbors still wave from their porches and community feels real, not just like a word.
Hamilton taught me the value of roots that who you are is shaped by where you come from, and that progress doesn’t mean forgetting your past. It’s a city built on resilience, creativity, and kindness, and no matter where I go, Hamilton will always be the place that made me who I am.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my online ordination, I hope to create meaningful connections and help people celebrate life’s most important moments with authenticity and heart. My goal isn’t just to perform ceremonies, but to make each one personal a reflection of the couple, family, or individual involved. I believe that love, commitment, and community come in many forms, and everyone deserves a ceremony that honors their story in a genuine way.
Becoming ordained online gives me the freedom to serve others without the boundaries of tradition or denomination. I want to offer a welcoming and inclusive experience for people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. Whether it’s a wedding, vow renewal, or celebration of life, my hope is to bring warmth, respect, and a sense of belonging to every event I’m part of.
Ultimately, I see this ordination as a way to spread kindness and connection to help others mark the chapters of their lives with intention and joy. If I can bring even a little more love, laughter, and meaning into someone’s special day, then I’ll consider that the greatest achievement of all.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Liberty Township, OH wedding officiant?
What makes me special as a wedding officiant is my genuine commitment to creating ceremonies that feel completely personal and meaningful. I believe that no two love stories are the same, and every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects who they are their journey, their humor, their values, and the unique connection they share. I take time to get to know each couple, listen to their stories, and understand what matters most to them, so the words spoken on their wedding day feel authentic and heartfelt.
I also bring a calm, reassuring presence to the moment. Weddings can be emotional and sometimes overwhelming, and I strive to make everyone feel comfortable and supported, from the couple to the guests. My style blends warmth, sincerity, and a touch of lightheartedness, helping everyone feel at ease while keeping the focus where it belongs on love and commitment.
Whether the ceremony is large or small, traditional or unconventional, I approach each one with respect, joy, and gratitude. What makes me special isn’t just what I say it’s the care, attention, and heart I put into making each celebration truly unforgettable.
