My attraction to becoming ordained stems from my enjoyment of public speaking, but more importantly, my fundamental belief that I am capable of bringing a genuine measure of humanity to the union of two people, in a personalized and meaningful way.

I am a fourth-generation Jackson, CA, resident, but I was raised in San Leandro, CA. I have traveled throughout much of Central Europe, with an emphasis on Italy. I am primarily of Italian, Serbian, and Irish descent, and my ancestors were immigrants who settled in Amador County in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

I aim to bring a meaningful, authentic, and memorable touch to significant life events for everyone I serve.

I am not affiliated with any organized religion. I am a student of Buddhism and subscribe to the practices it embraces. Personally, I am working toward taking the 5 basic precepts.

I am about to find out on November 8, 2025, when I will be serving as the officiant for the first time at the wedding of my step-daughter! I was ordained by ULC in 2019, and I am now starting my officiant journey.

Fees do not include travel expenses (for events over 150 miles from me). Travel expenses would include overnight accommodations as necessary (up to $150 max). I am open to travel and very flexible with regard to expenses to creatively answer budget concerns for the event participants.

I am a professional writer (business and creative) and a former English teacher. Therefore, I am happy to provide as much guidance as needed for couples who are writing their own vows. For any type of event (marriage, funeral, etc.) I can incorporate a range of elements, including literature, poetry, song lyrics, and humor, to satisfy any desired themes, intentions, or vibes.
