I wanted to become a minister because I believe love deserves to be honored, celebrated, and made visible. For me, ministry is about helping people express the depth of their commitment in a way that is both permanent and public. When two people choose to stand before their community and declare their love, it is one of the most meaningful acts of faith and devotion. I felt called to support that moment—to guide, affirm, and bless it—so that their bond is not only recognized legally, but cherished spiritually and emotionally as well.
