Sherlyn Knight
Ordained Minister in Niagara Falls, Ontario
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister because I believe in the power of love, connection, and spiritual celebration. My calling is rooted in a desire to serve the Lord by uplifting others—especially during life’s most meaningful moments. Whether it’s a wedding, a memorial, a baby dedication, or a personal milestone, I want people to feel seen, supported, and spiritually embraced. I believe we are all children of God, and honoring that truth doesn’t require a building or a denomination—it simply requires compassion, presence, and a heart open to grace.
Where are you from?
I am from Ontario, Canada
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my online ordination, I hope to create space for people to feel spiritually supported during life’s most meaningful moments. My goal is to offer ceremonies that honor love, commitment, and personal growth—whether or not someone identifies with a traditional religious background. I believe that God’s love is expansive and inclusive, and I want to reflect that by being present for others in a way that feels authentic, compassionate, and deeply respectful of their journey. This ordination allows me to serve with intention, celebrate with grace, and uplift others in ways that align with both faith and humanity.

Additional Information
My spiritual journey has been shaped by a rich tapestry of faith traditions—including Catholicism, Seventh-day Adventism, Church of God, and Pentecostal communities. Each has offered me meaningful insights into worship, service, and the power of God's love. While I honor these roots, I don’t confine myself to any single denomination. I believe in the living word of God and the spirit of His love—not in bricks and mortar, but in the hearts of people. My calling is to serve others with compassion, grace, and spiritual integrity, regardless of their background.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Niagara Falls, ON wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the intention behind every word and gesture. I don’t just officiate—I listen, I learn, and I tailor each ceremony to reflect the couple’s unique story, values, and spiritual connection. Whether they come from a faith tradition or simply believe in love as a sacred bond, I create a space that feels personal, inclusive, and deeply meaningful. My goal is to honor their commitment in a way that uplifts their spirit and celebrates the divine presence in their union—without judgment, without pressure, just grace and joy.
