Paul Rebel
Ordained Minister in Plant City, Florida
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Becoming an ordained minister is not just a title—it’s a calling. For me, the decision came from a deep desire to serve, guide, and uplift others. I’ve always believed that faith should be more than something we practice privately; it should be something that inspires action, compassion, and hope in the lives of those around us. Through ordination, I committed myself to walk alongside people in their most important life moments—celebrating love in marriage, offering comfort in times of loss, and supporting spiritual growth through prayer and guidance. This path allows me to be a bridge between tradition and modern life, meeting people where they are and honoring the journeys they are on. At the heart of my decision is service: to listen without judgment, to provide words of encouragement, and to remind others that they are never alone. Becoming an ordained minister has given me the opportunity to live out my faith daily, not only through words but through actions that bring light, love, and understanding into the world.

What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my ordination, my hope is to create meaningful connections and provide support for people during some of life’s most important moments. Whether it’s officiating weddings, offering words of comfort at memorials, or guiding others in times of transition, I want to bring compassion, inclusivity, and encouragement to each experience. Online ordination allows me to serve a diverse community beyond traditional walls, meeting people where they are—spiritually, emotionally, and even geographically. My goal is to make ceremonies and spiritual guidance accessible, personal, and authentic, so that everyone feels seen, respected, and celebrated. Ultimately, I hope to use this ordination as a way to share love, peace, and understanding, helping people mark their journeys with dignity and joy.
