Chaplain Frost
Ordained Minister in Toledo, Ohio
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I got ordained because I wanted to provide services for those who need them by a neutral party, who is open to interfaith traditions. I want to be able to help people in need with the help and calling of God I have received.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. Raised Lutheran at St Marks Lutheran Church. Exploring religion the last 20 years, and am now a Christian Universalist/Non-Denominational.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I would love to eventually perform services for those in need. I’ve volunteered throughout Toledo with various churches throughout the years, but would like to use my ordination to help with actual services and be a spiritual crutch when needed. I want to bring together people under the love of God. Helping connect people on a deeper spiritual level is a blessing I hope to share with the world.
Religious Affiliations
Catholicism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Protestantism, Quakers, Unitarian Universalism, Universal Life Church, Wicca
Additional Information
I have practiced many religions throughout my life. The ones that resonated the most were Buddhism, Hinduism, and Catholicism. I love the traditions and practices that I know of most religions, but never felt any was quite right for me so I would like to be whatever I’m needed for as I believe all paths lead to the same God. I have been (in order) Lutheran, Taoist, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist, Liberal Quaker, Catholic (though I never finished my conversion), Muslim, Christian Universalist (my current belief system). I have read decent chunks of the Torah, Bible, Quran, Vedas, various philosophical texts, and watched many videos and read many articles about various belief systems. I believe God is in all and is everything. God loves everyone equally and wants us each to follow the path that speaks to us personally.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Toledo, OH wedding officiant?
I custom tailor ceremonies to each party to fit their beliefs, giving them a ceremony they can feel confident in. I am an interfaith minister and will perform ceremonies for all faiths. I have practiced a variety of religions seriously, and learned about many more. I am passionate about finding the path to God that is unique to each person.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I would like to stay in Ohio or areas close to Toledo.

Additional Information
I currently have only done readings and services for family. When my grandmother passed away, I was at her bedside giving her prayers and blessings in her chosen faith (Catholicism). I have felt a call from God for years, and am willing to fill the role I feel I’m meant for to help others. Another passion of mine. I would only charge the legal cost of the license and gas. The ceremony would otherwise be free until I’m more well versed. If you are close or just in need of spiritual council, blessings, someone to be there in tough times, or an emergency scenario where a minister or chaplain is needed, I will do my best to get there free of charge.
