Dana Vanevenhoven
Ordained Minister in Appleton, Wisconsin
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
God has called me to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I want to be available to support and disciple those who desire a deeper walk with God, and getting an online ordination was a process I chose to help me step into that calling. It provided a simple, accessible way to become equipped and recognized in ministry so I could serve wherever God opens the door—whether that’s teaching, mentoring, officiating, or simply being present for people in moments of need. My goal has always been to honor the Lord Jesus by being prepared and available to serve His people.
Where are you from?
Appleton, WI.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to use my online ordination as a way to serve others by praying for those in need (healing emphasis), and offering discipleship studies for anyone who is sincerely seeking the Truth found in God’s Word. My desire is to be available to support people in their spiritual journey and help them grow in their relationship with the Lord.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Appleton, WI wedding officiant?
I believe what makes my ceremonies special is the personal connection and the heart behind them. I take the time to get to know each couple — their story, their values, and their vision for their wedding day — so that the ceremony truly reflects who they are. I also approach each wedding prayerfully, seeking to honor God and bless the couple, their families, and everyone present. My goal is to create a meaningful, joyful, and memorable moment that sets the tone for a lifelong marriage rooted in Christ, not just a beautiful day.
