Amiir Lindsey
Ordained Minister in Atlanta, Georgia
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I first became ordained online because I wanted the freedom to serve people outside of restrictive systems. Too often, gatekeepers limit who can officiate, bless, or guide. My decision came from a desire to support people during important moments of their lives, weddings, memorials, spiritual conversations without judgment and without exclusion. Adding the Church of Satan to my ordinations deepens that intention by embracing individuality, responsibility, and the power of questioning tradition.
Where are you from?
Im born in Georgia, raised in Utah
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I want to explore and honor the full spectrum of spiritual and philosophical traditions, including those that challenge mainstream ideas. By holding ordination through both the Universal Life Church and the Church of Satan, I aim to create space for people who feel out of place in traditional religious settings. My goal is to help others see that ritual, philosophy, and personal growth can come from many paths whether rooted in love, rebellion, or self-empowerment.

The Church of Satan, in particular, represents a philosophy of responsibility and individual strength that I want to bring into my ministry
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Atlanta, GA wedding officiant?
My ceremonies are special because I strip away the fluff and make the moment about the couple, not tradition for tradition’s sake. I listen to their story, their energy, their vision, and then I build a ritual that reflects them. Whether that’s sacred, rebellious, romantic, or unconventional, I bring their truth to life in a way that feels unforgettable
