John Byard
Ordained Minister in AMARILLO, Texas
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I chose to become ordained online because I felt a deep calling to serve people in one of the most important moments of their lives — their wedding day. At first, it was a way to be able to step in when friends or family members asked me to officiate. I didn’t want to just be there for them; I wanted to be equipped, recognized, and prepared to do it well.
Getting ordained online gave me the opportunity to answer that call quickly, but it also opened the door to something much bigger. Over time, I realized that this wasn’t just a one-time experience — it was a true ministry. Becoming ordained allowed me to help couples create meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies that honor their love, reflect their values, and mark the sacredness of their commitment.
For me, ordination wasn’t about convenience — it was about courageously stepping into the role God was placing before me, and then continuing to grow, learn, and deepen that calling so I could serve couples with authenticity, compassion, and joy.
Where are you from?
I am from a small town called Canadian Texas
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my online ordination, my greatest hope is to make a real difference in people’s lives by offering ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, and Spirit-led. I want couples to feel that their wedding day isn’t just a formality, but a sacred and joyful milestone that reflects who they are and the love they share.
My ordination gives me the privilege to:
Serve with courage and compassion – guiding couples as they begin a new chapter of life together.
Create space for faith and love – helping couples invite God’s presence into their ceremony and marriage, if they desire.
Celebrate diversity of love stories – offering ceremonies that are warm, inclusive, and tailored to each couple’s unique journey.
Ultimately, I hope to bring encouragement, peace, and joy to every couple I serve. My ordination isn’t just a credential — it’s a commitment to walk beside people in one of their most treasured life moments and to help them step boldly into their future with love and courage.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a AMARILLO, TX wedding officiant?
What sets my ceremonies apart is the way I bring both heart and intention into every detail. For me, a wedding ceremony isn’t just about following a script — it’s about capturing the true spirit of your relationship and creating a moment that feels deeply personal and unforgettable.
Here’s what couples can expect when I officiate:
Personal Connection – I take time to listen to your story, your values, and your vision. Every ceremony I craft reflects you — not a template.
Balance of Sacred & Joyful – Whether you want a Christ-centered service, a spiritual tone, or something more lighthearted, I create a balance that honors the sacredness of marriage while celebrating the joy of the moment.
Encouragement & Courage – At Kingdom Courage Ceremonies, I weave in words that inspire you to step boldly into marriage with strength, love, and faith.
A Calm, Steady Presence – On such an emotional day, I bring peace, organization, and reassurance so you can be fully present in the moment.
Memorable, Not Forgettable – I strive to create a ceremony that leaves not only you, but also your guests, touched and inspired.
