Jay Garza

I became an ordained minister because I believe spiritual support should be accessible to everyone. I wanted to be someone people could turn to during life's most meaningful moments, offering guidance, presence, and compassion without unnecessary barriers. My hope has always been to create genuine connection and ensure people feel welcomed, supported, and seen exactly as they are.

I currently live in the Austin/Round Rock area, but I'm originally from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, where I was raised and spent most of my life. The Rio Grande Valley is a vibrant crossroads of Mexican and American cultures, and growing up there gave me a deep appreciation for community, diversity, and the many ways people express their traditions, values, and identities.

I hope to be a trusted and approachable presence for people during life's most meaningful moments, offering inclusive, compassionate support to those seeking ceremony, connection, or spiritual guidance—especially when traditional pathways may feel inaccessible or unwelcoming. My goal is to create spaces where people feel seen, respected, and celebrated, with no gatekeeping—just genuine care, authenticity, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.

I believe life's most meaningful moments should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, beliefs, identity, or circumstances. My goal is to provide ceremonies that are thoughtful, inclusive, and deeply personal—creating spaces where people feel safe to celebrate, grieve, reflect, and connect in ways that are authentic to them. Above all, I hope to meet people where they are with compassion, respect, and genuine care.
