Bo Wang
Ordained Minister in Los Angeles, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister not simply to speak about faith, but to offer presence, compassion, and support when people need it most. I believe that some of life’s most meaningful moments — the beginning of love, times of loss, and moments of personal transformation — deserve to be honored with sincerity, dignity, and care.
Becoming ordained is my way of saying: I am here, and I am ready to serve with an open heart. Whether celebrating a new marriage, offering comfort during difficult times, or sharing words of encouragement and hope, I hope to bring kindness, peace, and connection to those I have the privilege to serve.
Where are you from?
I am originally from China and have a deep appreciation for different cultures, traditions, and perspectives.
Through my experiences working with people from around the world, I have learned the importance of respect, understanding, and connection between individuals and communities.

Through my ordination, I hope to bring positive energy, compassion, and meaningful blessings to those I have the privilege to serve.
Whether celebrating love through a wedding ceremony, offering encouragement during important life transitions, or simply sharing words of hope and kindness, my goal is to help people feel respected, supported, and connected.
I believe every person’s journey is unique, and every meaningful moment deserves to be honored with sincerity, dignity, and care.

I consider myself a Christian with a deep respect for faith, compassion, and the importance of serving others. While I appreciate the traditions and values of Christianity, I also believe that every person’s spiritual journey is unique and deserves respect and understanding.
I have also spent time studying Buddhist and Taoist philosophies, which have given me a broader appreciation for compassion, mindfulness, balance, and harmony in human life. These experiences have helped me better understand and respect different cultural and spiritual perspectives.
My goal as an ordained minister is to offer kindness, encouragement, and meaningful support during important moments in people’s lives, while honoring their personal beliefs, cultures, and traditions.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Los Angeles, CA wedding officiant?
As an ordained minister, my role goes far beyond weddings. I see every ceremony—whether it’s a marriage, baptism, memorial, or spiritual blessing—as a sacred moment in someone’s life journey. What makes my ceremonies special is the deep sense of intention I bring: I listen, I personalize, and I honor each individual or couple with compassion and presence.
My ceremonies are not one-size-fits-all. Whether secular or spiritual, joyful or solemn, I tailor each moment to reflect your beliefs, culture, and heart. I consider it a privilege to walk with people through their most meaningful transitions in life—not only as an officiant, but as a guide, a witness, and a servant of peace.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I am open to traveling to meaningful locations and special occasions. I have a particular appreciation for multicultural celebrations and ceremonies that bring people from different backgrounds together.
I am especially interested in serving couples and families in California, including the Los Angeles area and surrounding communities. I also welcome opportunities to participate in unique ceremonies and celebrations where compassion, respect, and connection are valued.
