Additional Information
Born and raised Dutch Reformed. While I consider myself a 2.5 point Calvinist, and am pretty well versed in scripture, I also find value in studying faiths other than my own tradition for wisdom.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Watervliet, NY wedding officiant?
I cater to many different types of folks. I can spin the ceremony either way along the spectrum from devoutly Christian to spiritual but non-specific to more civil in character. One thing I will say, though, as a hard limit is that I will NEVER disrespect anyone's earnestly held spiritual convictions, whether I agree or not, and I will never perform a ceremony for which I am unqualified. For example, I'm not Jewish, Muslim, or Catholic, so I cannot perform any of their rites or ceremonies. Aside from this, prices to officiate are scalable.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I typically like to stay close to home. But I will travel for reimbursement.
Types of Service Offered

Additional Information
Folks from every walk of life are spiritual creatures. With that, I provide a full complement of spiritual services to anyone who needs them, regardless of age, sex, gender, political belief, religion, race, hair color, or any other defining characteristic.
For most services, I'm open to a free-will donation. If you need a house blessing, baptism, christening, funeral, someone to confess to, or even just a friendly conversation, and you're close, feel free to donate a few dollars to support my ministry. If you can't afford it, but you really need one of these services, I'd rather you email me and ask than just assume I won't help you, especially if it's spiritual counseling, confession, or God forbid, a funeral. I'd rather accept no payment for such services than let someone struggle through their problems alone.
For weddings, it really depends on what you're looking for. If you want something simple, the cost isn't huge. If you want something highly customized with a rehearsal, and the entire thing will take the better part of a day, it can get pricy. But you will receive my pricing up-front.
