I chose to become ordained online to have the flexibility to serve couples from diverse backgrounds and to offer meaningful ceremonies that truly reflect their identities. The Universal Life Church’s inclusive approach aligns perfectly with my desire to honor tradition while embracing individuality, allowing me to respectfully incorporate Greek cultural elements into each wedding I officiate.

I am originally from Cyprus, where Greek culture and traditions run deep in everyday life and celebrations. Growing up in a Greek Cypriot community has given me a profound appreciation for the beauty and symbolism of Greek wedding rituals, which I am honored to share with couples far beyond my homeland.

Through my online ordination, I hope to bring the warmth, symbolism, and joy of Greek traditions to weddings everywhere. My goal is to create ceremonies that not only celebrate the couple’s love but also honor their heritage and family history, making each wedding a meaningful blend of culture, spirituality, and personal expression.

While I proudly identify with my Greek Orthodox cultural heritage and cherish the traditions it has instilled in me, my ordination through the Universal Life Church allows me to serve in an inclusive, non-denominational capacity. This means I’m able to officiate weddings for couples of all faiths, backgrounds, and beliefs—whether religious, spiritual, or secular.

My approach is rooted in respect for diverse perspectives and a commitment to crafting ceremonies that honor the couple’s unique values and cultural identities. This flexibility ensures that every ceremony I lead feels authentic and meaningful, while also embracing the beautiful heritage of Greek customs whenever the couple desires.

What makes my ceremonies truly special is the heartfelt blend of personal connection and cultural tradition. Drawing on my Greek Cypriot heritage, I carefully weave meaningful Greek customs, like the Stefana crowning, symbolic bread and wine sharing, and other rich rituals, into modern, personalized ceremonies. This creates a unique experience that honors both the couple’s love story and their cultural roots, making the day deeply memorable and authentic for everyone involved.
