Megan Elizabeth Haddadi
Ordained Minister in Somerville, Massachusetts
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I have always considered myself a very spiritual person, and I originally became an ordained minister online in June 2018, when I first found out I was able to do so. The possibility of what this could mean to me in my future was unknown to me at the time; the experience just called me. I didn't know why; it just felt "right." I guess I had a feeling that one day I might marry a close friend.
Where are you from?
I am originally from Massachusetts, and I currently live and work in Massachusetts.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My goal since high school, where our motto was "cui servire est regnare," he who serves, rules, or to serve is to rule, has always been to live a life in service to others. I have spend 20 years working in the field of education. And I have dealt with a lot of stress, anxiety, and depression. I have been stressed out, burnt out, overwhelmed, exhausted, you name it. I have dealt with tension headaches for months on end, fainting, sore/tight muscles and knots and trigger points, losing my phone and keys and wallet, falling down flights of stairs, lockjaw, and heartburn to the point of eating TUMS like it's candy, with some in my desk drawer and some in my car and some in my purse and some more still on my night stand, all from stress. My body speaks to me very loudly, so I know when something is off, but it took me time to listen to my intuition and trust my gut. I have since found strategies that work for me, and I have peace in my life, and I want to share it with others. I can offer spiritual coaching, healing through reiki, yoga nidra sessions, and classes or coaching in instinctive meditation.
