I was first ordained by the ULC in 1999. I did it to perform a wedding ceremony for a yoga student. Since then, I have officiated over 60 customized non-traditional and non-religious weddings. I've also performed baby-blessings, age-related rites of passage ceremonies, and celebrations of life.

I live in Michigan, but perform weddings all over the world. Since 1999, I've been flown to Germany, England, Hawaii, Costa Rica to help make couple's sacred day special.

I am happy to know that there is an online profile for ULC Ministers. After all these years, I'm happy to be a more active member of the community.

Love is my religion. I am personally, a-theist, meaning that I do not adhere to any one theology. I was raised Jewish; since high school, I've studied the Bible, Yoga, Zen, and earth-based and indigenous spiritualities. I am a student of the universe, of science, and of consciousness. I believe life is sacred and that mindfulness helps us slow down and savor it.

Since 1999, I've delivered over 60 personalized non-religious wedding ceremonies. Your ceremony will focus on you as a couple, and on love and commitment. First, we schedule at 30 minute ceremony planning interview so I can learn about your love story and offer you multiple choice options and short answer questions for each section of the ceremony. Everything is optional, and anything is possible when love guides us. After the interview, couple's can choose to be as involved or uninvolved in the writing process as they choose to be. Some like to be surprised, others want to see drafts and make edits. Whatever brings you joy and ease, I am here to support.

Events outside of a 10 mile radius of 49006 are subject to travel fees. I am open to conversations and financial negotiations about travel outside of Michigan or the US.

I hold a Master's degree in East/West Psychology and have been in private practice working with couples since 2009. My background is in the intersection of contemplative practice with mental health. In addition to weddings, I create individual rites of passage ceremonies, and large group rituals on retreat.
