Andrew Past
Ordained Minister in Чернигов, Chernihivs'ka Oblast'
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Since childhood, I’ve felt a deep calling to be present for people — not only in moments of joy, but especially in times of hardship. I’ve always wanted to be someone who listens, supports, and helps guide others toward light and hope. Becoming ordained online was my first step toward fulfilling this spiritual calling. In a world that’s becoming increasingly digital, I saw an opportunity to bring the message of faith, love, and compassion to people who might not have access to a traditional church setting. Online ordination gave me a platform for service that transcends borders.
Where are you from?
I am from Ukraine — a region rich in history, nature, and deep spiritual roots. Specifically, from Chernihiv Oblast, a place filled with ancient churches, monasteries, and sacred traditions. This environment shaped my worldview and taught me to respect heritage, but also inspired me to carry spiritual guidance into everyday life, outside of church walls.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My goal is not merely to hold the title of a minister, but to truly serve as a spiritual guide and source of support. I want to reach people — regardless of age, background, or location — and help them find peace, purpose, and faith. Online ordination allows me to break through physical barriers and connect with souls everywhere: from cities to the most remote villages. I envision building a community where anyone can find comfort, encouragement, and spiritual renewal. This online ministry is my way of being a modern-day shepherd in a changing world — one that still deeply needs love, truth, and faith.

Additional Information
My spiritual identity is built on openness, a deep love for God, and respect for religious diversity. I don’t limit myself strictly to one denomination or doctrine — my ministry is focused on people, not division. I believe that God is one, but the paths to Him can be many. That’s why I aim to unite rather than separate, to serve honestly and compassionately, and to welcome every person who seeks faith, peace, or a moment of spiritual connection.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Чернигов, 74 wedding officiant?
I sincerely believe that every couple deserves a unique, heartfelt, and deeply personal ceremony. My goal is to create an atmosphere of true spiritual unity, where every word and every ritual carries meaning and purpose. My ceremonies are not just a “formal part” of the day — they are a reflection of love, faith, and trust between two people. I take time to listen to each couple’s story, values, and vision in order to craft a moment they’ll carry with them for a lifetime. I also strive to balance spirituality, modernity, and lightness, so that everyone — regardless of age or background — feels that the ceremony was made with love, just for them.
