Ann
Ordained Minister in Levelland, Texas
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Well, bless your heart for askin' that! You know, out here in Texas, sometimes the nearest steeple is a mighty long drive, and a true calling from the Lord don't always come in the form of stained glass and a pipe organ.
For me, it felt like a whisper from God, clear as a West Texas sunset, tellin' me there were folks out there, scattered across this big ol' digital ranch, who needed comfort, guidance, or just a little bit of spiritual water in their dry spell. It wasn't about buildin' a grand church, but about reachin' out where folks were, wherever their boots might be planted, even if that was just sittin' on their couch with a phone in their hand.
The online path, it just opened up that wide-open space to serve, to share God's love and wisdom with anyone who needed it, no matter the county line. It's about gettin' the good word out, plain and simple, and sometimes, the most direct route is through the internet superhighway. That's how I figured I could do the most good, right where I was called to be.
Where are you from?

What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Well now, that's a question as big as the sky over the Caprock Canyon!
What I truly hope to achieve with this online ordination is to cast a wider net for the Lord's work. Out here, and everywhere really, there are folks who might not darken the door of a traditional church, or maybe they just live too far off the beaten path to get there regular.
My hope is to be a steady light in that vast digital world – to offer comfort through prayer when someone's feelin' low, to share a word of scripture that hits just right, to guide folks lookin' for spiritual answers, or even just to witness a joyous moment like a wedding or a new baby from afar.
It's about plantin' seeds of faith and hope in places they might not otherwise reach, showing that God's love isn't confined by four walls or a county line. I just aim to serve, to tend to the spiritual needs of folks wherever they are, and help 'em feel a little closer to God and to each other, no matter the distance. That's the real harvest I'm prayin' for.
