Samantha Chandler
Ordained Minister in Helenwood, Tennessee
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister online to align with my mission of emotional healing and empowerment through Samarticles. Many of the people I serve are navigating difficult life transitions or seeking purpose, and I wanted to offer not just coaching and educational tools, but also spiritual and emotional support. Being ordained gave me the ability to hold space for others in a deeper, more meaningful way—whether through counseling, ceremonies, or healing-focused guidance—while staying true to the inclusive, compassionate values at the heart of my work.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Kentucky and currently based in Tennessee, where I serve individuals across the U.S. through my company, Samarticles. I come from a close-knit Southern community that instilled in me the values of faith, resilience, and service. As a mother of three and an advisor for Women in Leadership at the University of Tennessee, I’m deeply rooted in family and purpose. My background fuels my passion for emotional healing, education, and helping others rise through coaching, learning, and personal transformation.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my online ordination, I hope to provide inclusive, heart-centered support to individuals seeking healing, clarity, or spiritual guidance—especially those who may feel overlooked by traditional institutions. My goal is to combine my ministerial role with my work through Samarticles to officiate meaningful ceremonies, offer emotional and spiritual counseling, and empower people during life’s most vulnerable transitions. Ultimately, I want to be a trusted source of comfort, strength, and transformation for those on their personal or healing journeys.

Additional Information
I believe in a faith that is rooted in love, healing, and service. While I was ordained through a non-denominational online ministry to ensure inclusivity, my personal beliefs are shaped by Christian values of compassion, grace, and purpose. I welcome and serve people from all backgrounds, regardless of religious affiliation, and aim to create spiritually meaningful experiences that honor each individual’s journey. My focus is on emotional and spiritual healing, not dogma—meeting people where they are, with respect and authenticity.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Helenwood, TN wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the deep level of personalization, care, and emotional presence I bring to each one. I take time to truly understand each couple—their story, values, and vision—and craft a ceremony that reflects who they are, not just as partners, but as individuals coming together in love. My background in emotional healing and coaching helps me hold space with warmth and calm, even during high-stress moments. Whether traditional or unconventional, spiritual or secular, every ceremony I officiate is grounded in authenticity, inclusivity, and a genuine celebration of love.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I’m located in East Tennessee, near Knoxville, and I regularly serve clients throughout the surrounding regions, including Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Maryville, and Oak Ridge. These areas are not only familiar to me but also deeply meaningful, as I’ve officiated ceremonies in everything from scenic mountain overlooks to intimate chapel settings. I’m open to travel throughout Tennessee and into neighboring states for special events. My priority is creating a smooth, supportive experience no matter the location, especially in destinations that hold personal significance for the couples or families I serve.
