Evalyn Bautista
Ordained Minister in San Francisco, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister online because someone very dear to me , my cousin asked me to officiate her wedding. It was an incredible honor and something I didn’t take lightly. I wanted to show up fully for her and her partner, to create a ceremony that felt meaningful, personal, and true to their love story. Becoming ordained online gave me the opportunity to legally and lovingly be part of such an important moment in their lives.

What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My main hope is to be able to offer something heartfelt and intentional. If I can help couples feel seen, celebrated, and deeply connected during their ceremony and especially in a way that reflects who they truly are, then I’ve done what I set out to do. I want every ceremony I lead to feel warm, genuine, and unforgettable.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a San Francisco, CA wedding officiant?
I think what makes my ceremonies special is the heart behind them. I take the time to really get to know each couple, their story, their values, their vision for the day, and I shape the ceremony around them. My goal is always to create a space that feels personal, grounded, and full of intention. Whether it's incorporating meaningful traditions or writing custom vows together, I want the ceremony to feel like a true reflection of who they are and what their love represents.
