Hamdeh Mokdadi
Ordained Minister in Cliffside Park, New Jersey
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I was always interested in understanding the religions in our world. So, in 2008 I went to GCU and obtained and Associates degree in World Religion. Then the pandemic hit our world and even though I was an essential employee, my husband at the time was unemployed and diagnosed with Kidney Cancer, so I was forced to find another hustle to supplement for his missing salary. However, I am so glad I did get ordained because it also gave me a purpose to bring joy and healing to people during a stressful and challenging time.
Where are you from?
I am Arabic, born in New Jersey but my nationality is Palestinian. I lived 10 years in Palestine,s and I speak, read, and write Arabic fluently.
